An 8-bit pixel diary that logs your day like an RPG results screen: HP, MP, gold, quests and a damage log. Writing grants EXP and streak combos to level up. Local-first, bilingual.

About this work
A mobile diary app that records the day through RPG stats. Stamina, mental state, achievement, gold and condition show up as a character status window rather than numbers. Fill in quests, journeys, equipment, achievements, damage and an ending line, and the day closes out.
Core
For the 8-bit feel there are pixel fonts, message windows, a CRT effect and themes. Writing an entry grants EXP automatically, and consecutive days build a combo that levels you up.
There are reasons to come back. A home-screen widget and notifications surface today's status outside the app, and monthly badges set a goal at the scale of a month.
The dot icons, including 60 avatars, are built by a generation script. Rather than collecting hand-drawn PNGs they are re-derived from source, so a tonal mismatch means rebuilding the whole set.
Verification runs 55 unit and integration cases plus 11 e2e scenarios, and the Android APK builds successfully.
Stack
Capacitor 6, React 18, TypeScript and Vite. Local-first, so no server yet, with permissions kept minimal to protect sensitive diary content.
